
When they happen, there are good employee events.
I have found that in comparison to the same position at other companies, that I am underpaid. I have also found that our raises and bonus structure is lacking compared to other companies.
Very talented and really good people who just want to make a positive impact. But lack of clear direction from leadership and also a lack of keeping the current talent is hurting the company.
The leadership team needs to communicate more. What are our long term plans and strategic goals? Where do we want to be when we grow up. Right now it feels like we are going in 50 different directions with no clear plan.
I tried to talk to my manager about taking the next step in my career, to move up to a higher position and they completely shot me down. Told me it was better to focus on being a super star instead of looking to be promoted. That they had not even considered me for anything more.
