
Right now, as working in the office is optional, there's definitely a more healthy work-life balance and I've found that we are encouraged to take breaks as needed. Obviously things can get hectic but they trust us to get our work done without having to stay chained to our desks/computers.
Depends on location. Charleston is probably the most 'chill' location, but it's still telling that they regularly have food trucks or outside vendors come in for the people who don't want to leave for lunch. It's 100% during Open Enrollment/OE.
A few years ago, the summer celebration giveaway was a Benefitfocus-themed lunch bag. If you're inferring something from that statement, the answer is yes. It's "encouraged" that much, at that level.
