How common is it to switch departments or teams at Boostability?

You can expect to switch departments or teams quite often, depending on how much you want to move up in the company. If you're a great performer, you're going to most likely move to a position that pays better. Typically you stay in the same department, but sometimes you will transfer to a different one. From what I've seen you always have a say in the matter. No promotion is mandatory ;)

Common. When people see an opening in another department that they feel will help them better their career they're not afraid to apply for it and switch over.

I would say it is pretty common. I know several people, myself included, that have moved to other departments and/or been promoted within the company.

Switching teams can happen quite often. Especially if looking for advancement since those opportunities do not seem to come up very often.
