They need to hire or promote experts in digital services delivery into actual senior positions and then actually listen to them. And they need to do things instead of talking about doing things

I often don't feel very valued by the company except as a cog in the machine. People are hired to be excellent widgets, but the company doesn't seem to want anyone to be much more and actively pushes down people who point out issues or try to fix them.
