  • Nothing that any other Tech Startup offers. Extra perks are overall lacking. However, I would accept a higher than market rate salary than extra perks any-day.

  • Among peers it's great. Most are willing to help out and some have 15 to 20 years experience. You have some lone wolfs that do their own thing but no one really likes them. Management depending what "team" you are on various greatly. One team's manager says that if your not in the office "you are not working." I've heard of people getting told they are abusing the unlimited vacation policy after taking a two week vacation. One even makes their team member's announce when they won't be in the office to the Sales Org. Others are much more mature and treat you as an adult and they expect you to be an adult in return.

  • Recent leadership that has joined the team has the potential to really shape up Cloudflare into a true Enterprise SaaS company. However, there are leaders who were great when we were small that are standing in the way of change. There are a handful of individuals victim of the Peter Principle that are obviously struggling but unwilling to accept or ask for help.

  • The team is growing quickly. The growth has out ran the maturity of the sales team. Lacking proper process for effectively and efficiently out bound. Prospecting is a free for-all with loosely defined geographical lines. If ARR is high enough it's fair game for anyone. No true Sales Engineering. The Solutions Engineers are tied to an account for pre and post sales. Resources at times feel thin. There is no hand off for technical customer success. Despite the current environment deals come in, deals get closed, and numbers get met. If it's not really broken, why fix it?
