If you come in as a Ready Reserve (ACS), then you get flight benefits, but since it is seniority base, during heavier periods of travel it is very difficult to get on aircraft. Likewise, your dependents get benefits as well. There is a 401(k) benefit as a Ready Reserve. Likewise, if you are scheduled to work premium holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day) as a Ready Reserve, you receive double pay. You also accrue paid personal time. As a Full Time Agent, you get all of the above, plus Health Benefits (which aren't as good or cost effective as the previously were) which you are required to get. Also, you gain paid vacation weeks based on time in service as well as able to bank your holidays off. Contrary, it is incredibly hard to get these days off depending on the area and location (including station) you work in because of the consistently short staff,

Travel benefits, if you can get time off to use them. And with planes being full so often these days, getting to use the travel benefits is complicated at more often than not. Also, as a ready reserve you get 3% contribution to your 401k (new benefit) and five of the nine holidays that a benefited employee gets. However, as a ready reserve you have to work the holiday to get the benefit of the time and a half. If you don't work it, you get absolutely nothing from it - such as a banked holiday to take a day off at a time of your choosing.
