Based on my colleagues, all kinds! I work with introverts, extroverts, serious types, jokesters, young and old. The most common trait I've found is kindness, even the grouches are just grouches, not unkind. Best thing about grouches is they let you get work done and they let you have a grouchy day too without the attention everyone else pays. There's a variety ethnicities, LGBTQ, lots of women. It's not just a straight white men's club. The fiversity seems reflective of the surrounding population and the interest in the industry. I think more minorities will become interested as today's minority employees talk to their families about their job. What kid dreams of being an underwriter? Like so many many others, I learned of the company through relatives and that's bound to continue. Today's underrepresented groups will grow as today's employees introduce their contacts to the existence of the thrilling world of property insurance and the joys of cubicles.
