A bit hectic but valuable. Potentially will be rotated quickly through multiple teams to get a high level overview of what the work is like and potentially put on an easy to learn but tedious task by a team in need of the extra help. This is not a bad thing, especially if you learn that is not the particular job you could stand for a year. Managers will ensure some time is spent with the staff under them, which means you'll have time for candid conversation about the job, team, company from a person who would love you to join but isn't trying to recruit you with visions of only sunshine and roses. Cafe food is yummy and the campus is a nice place to walk or sit outside for a break. Driving out on lunch break isn't worth the traffic frustration unless it's a long break. Going 4 miles round trip to get a sandwich potentially takes 30 minutes. Morning and evening commute traffic is more reasonable/less chaos than the silly lunchtime traffic.
