How my boss made me feel
For a startup, we have really great health care benefits.
Each department is held accountable to clear metrics and outcomes. We all want to win, together. We have one another's back. We embrace failing fast and discussing them as a company. We can also be very honest about how we feel as employees and people at Forethought.
We're a startup and things are not perfect or streamlined, but we're moving the needle as a company in our product, in our sales outcomes, and in our services team each day. It's incredible to see how far we've come and I feel challenged everyday but motivated to get better.
We have lofty goals as a company, as a team, and as individuals, but there is clear direction on what needs to be achieved and I'm never left with a lack of clarity. I genuinely like my co-workers and consider some already close friends (even though we're remote due to covid).
The leadership team genuinely cares about me as a person, as well as, how I perform in my current role and how I develop in order to promote and advance my career. They have my best interest in mind while also ensuring I'm held accountable to do my job well and advance in my role.
