
I've always thought that management should be trained on each job in their department, on the assembly line so they know the jobs.They can actually see what exactly is done and how it's done. They dont really have a clue. Then they'd have a better understanding when theres a problem or improvement needed on a job.Ive had several that couldnt even hold a power tool or understand the process of most jobs in their department. They just throw orders around with no understanding. I think upper management beats them down so they take it out on the line workers. We all want to do a good job,but the poor treatment gives you an attitude. Good management = good workers that want to do good = a good team.
Realizing the #1 asset is the people. There needs to be a balancing of goal directives and the impact of the abuse of the working people.

Truly driving the IT transformation. GMIT is seen as order-takers for business and sometimes treated as a cost center instead of a value-add
Communication and fair and equal treatment. Need incentives as well as chairs for employees to sit at break time on job stations
