How are layoffs handled in the Customer Support department at Giant Eagle?

They ask long time employees of they would like to take a layoff. They cut hours in every department. Even if the location is already short staffed. The turn over rate at certain locations are supper high because of the ppl they allow to run the department's. Not too many ppl stay and tge ones that do are constantly looking for a way out. No over time unless your friends. Not enough pay for tge work load. Must have a second job to work for this company. They say tgey are a family company but they are not! Work 5 days a week surrounded by groceries but cant even feed your own family or even afford to shop at the company you work for because you dont make enough. They dont really care about their employees. They only care about money! A lot of bullying and intimidation from department leaders and their friends. Your given 2 to 3 different jobs a shift to do all at once with the lowest amout of pay possible. No employee incentives are given unless to their friends or family.
