I am a female asian at Google, and there are many ,many like me here (many, many of them with kids). Google is my fourth company and while there are issues here and there (as you would expect in any company with more than 100,000+ employees), it still way ahead of other places I have worked at. But by all means, if it makes you feel better than your race and gender is the reason you are not getting hired, keep telling yourself that.
I agree. Take YouTube for example, if you express an opposing view, they will demonetize and/or remove your channel. I can't speak for everybody, but work/life balance isn't very good. Many of the problems that you work on is not trivial and requires a lot of investment in time. Maybe that is why it's hard to get an offer from them.
Yes very much so. They do not value women who want to have children, the disabled, and/or people who need work life balance. They also frown upon political actions or anyone speaking out about unfair policy, or saying some of the tech is "creepy"
Google has SOMETHING against black folks. There are NONE on the executive team presented here. Sometimes companies fake diversity -especially when headed by people to whom black folks are invisible.
