
The leadership team has always acted to help make the employees feel like they had some skin in the game. As an employee owned company, this made a big difference, it made us feel like our voices were heard, and our concerns were paid attention to.
The pay is weak, pay rates have been locked in since 2020 ignoring the fact that we've had some of the best quarters since the inception of H5. This is leading to quite a lot of discontentment, and has resulted in a nearly 10% turnover rate for 2020-2021
The company culture around PTO is awesome. We have an unlimited program where they let you take it. I spent 2 months off work last year on vacation. This doesn't mean we work less hours, we just work them in fewer weeks. Work hard, Play hard. That is the H5 motto.
The talent is what makes H5 a great place to work. People who are good at what they do, people are passionate about it, and people who understand that we all have lives, so we all chip in to help one another out and to support one another. The team is probably the BEST part of H5 in 2021.
