Healthify doesn't think about parental leave as maternity vs. paternity, rather primary & secondary. Primary Caregiver: If you have a new baby and at least 1 year of service with the company, you may take 16 weeks off at 100% pay. Secondary Caregiver: If you have a new baby and at least 1 year of service with the company, you may take 10 weeks off at 100% pay. Pro-Rating: All employees get 4 weeks of paid parental leave immediately from their hire date. Full-time employees who have not yet reached one year with the company accrue an additional week of leave for every month they've worked (eg: A full-time employee who is a Primary Caregiver, who’s been with the company for 6 months gets 4 weeks leave from their hire date, and an extra 6 weeks for each month they've worked. So 4 weeks + 6 weeks = 10 weeks total paid at 100%)
