
We have an unlimited vacation policy, which means that we don't have any formal process for taking time off. While you don't need any approvals from HR or your manager, we do trust that employees "Use Good Judgment," which is basically our only rule. As long as you're getting your work done and communicating with your manager and team about your plans, this is a very flexible work environment.
Sounds great, but in practice the "unlimited" vacation policy just means that you work during your vacations. Also, no compensation for unused vacation days.
