  • What should I wear for an interview at HubSpot?
    Business Casual + Blazer.
    Answered 8 years ago
There's no need to dress up that much. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing everyday of the week. This is not to say don't put any effort into your look. Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and make you look confident.

HubSpot is pretty casual but for an interview I'd shoot for business casual. Even jeans can be paired with a nice shirt and you'll be just fine. • How do I do well in an interview at HubSpot?
Be honest, slow down, take a breath -- and be able to express why you want this. If you need to take a minute to think of an answer, go ahead and ask the interview -- not a problem.

PREPARE. And relax. It's an interview, but it can be conversational.

    Usually 4 hours.

  • Who did you meet with during your interview? And how long did it take to hear back from HubSpot?
I had 2 phone interviews and 2 hours of onsite interviews (4 interviews that were 30 minutes each). HubSpot is dealing with thousands of applicants at a time. Sometimes hundreds of people apply to one role. Stay patient- they are excellent at getting back to you one way or another. It might take 2 weeks or it make take 2 months. It'll be worth the wait.

  • What questions do they ask during the interview process at HubSpot?
Depends on the role. Definitely be prepared to explain what HubSpot is and does. Prepare to answer questions about times you've failed or learned from a mistake. Also prepare to talk about times where you've really succeeded or your biggest accomplishment. Make sure you can speak to your current role and why you are looking to make a move to HubSpot.
