How's the leadership on the Operations team at JetBlue Airways?

At JetBlue we do not have leaders we have managers. They talk a good game but don't walk the talk. JetBlue started as a great concept in how a company could be and then turned into just another poorly managed company. Our operations currently speak for themselves.

They have trouble understanding the need to communicate Captain’s Authority in order to create a more fluid operation. Instead, they have an egalitarian “everyone is in charge” mindset that normally causes chaos.

Horrible. They have no idea what they are doing. Process improvement is totally alien to them. There's no feedback loop.

Worst leadership in the industry. They are not leaders first of all. Complete lack of respect from the top down.

Considering we have the worst operational statistics of any airline I believe this question answers itself.

We dont have leadership we have management. They practice the art of deception and opacity.

Terrible. Worst I have ever experienced in 25 years in the industry. Zero direction.

Leadership isn’t the worst I’ve ever seen. Complete lack of respect for employees. Incompetent.

One is very good. The others are hatchet men

Like a dog chasing its tail.

There is NO Leadership
