The interview was confrontational rather than edifying. They make lofty promises which were never delivered and they framed questions in convoluted way to make you look incompetent. Interviews should include the opportunity to talk to several people, not just direct supervisor.
I was let go with same day notice without any reason specified and nobody is willing to communicate what the issue was. I never even had orientation, training or performance review during my few months working at Kite. Replace the leadership and you'll change the company's toxic culture.
The meetings are impersonal and resemble a personal vent session for senior members as subordinates are forced to sit there and watch the unfolding trainwreck. 99% of the "meetings" could easily be done via non-verbosive emails so we don't have to sit there and listen to people's personal stories.
Replace leadership. People cannot change, so the only way to change a company's culture is to replace the seniority to whom subordinates look up to and respect. Yet when seniority doesn't practice what it preaches, it makes you wonder why you should bother making an effort in the first place!
Actual leadership! From day one, there was a sense of malaise and it proved itself to be true via the toxic work culture. Seniority suffers from senioritis, "I'm too good for you to train you" seems to be the mindset who just want to delegate the blame instead of leading by example and train people.
