We do a horrible job of listening to what our customers actually need. We have pretty low standards of what's considered an acceptable product - we don't strive to be enjoyable, we're happy as long as the product is usable and meets the minimum requirements
Compared to the average company, benefits are fair - compared to the wider tech industry, benefits and comp are definitely below average. There's no equity or equivalent, no dedicated learning/PD account, no wellness account, and only $300 HSA. Base comp is based on about 45-55% of market value.
