
Not at all. You can be the best person ever, you would get three minutes of recognition, and then be forgotten, as if you've never done anything. Also, all the work is very repetitive, making it feel as though you're getting nowhere, even if you are in fact getting a lot done.
Not very rewarding when you just keep doing the same thing over and over and the customers are nasty and management never acts appreciative.
Interacting with others, particularly customers has always been satisfying to me throughout my over fifty year career.
