Nature's Sunshine has been a great place to work. I've been here a number of years and through work and effort have had my role expanded multiple times. Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I've been here for 20+ years and risen through the ranks. I've entered upper management and opportunity for advancement is more limited now. Great company, great people, and great benefits. Demanding pace of work, but accomplishment is rewarding, and you're often recognized for your contributions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture of accomplishment and recognition of effort.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Clear vision and direction. Decisive with follow through.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are committed, capable, and human.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting things done and making progress.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Hard to say what's best. Great pay. Great PTO. Good Insurance with really low premiums.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Clear, regular communication about expectations and what is going on at the company, not only in my department, but across the organization.
What makes you most happy at work?
There's a lot to love. I like getting things done. I enjoy working with and hanging out with my coworkers. I like the acknowledgement that my efforts are appreciated beyond a paycheck. And at the end of the day, I like being paid, especially when its bonus time.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The insurance benefits are a tremendous perk with manageable monthly premiums that are further discounted by taking and passing an annual health exam. And even if you don't pass, you can still qualify for the reduced premium by working with your doctor to develop a plan and get healthier!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's the focus on getting things done. We're all about accomplishment and taking action. Some projects may bog down, but that's the nature of work. Overall, we're engaged in doing things that move the needle and move our company forward, and I know that my efforts are appreciated at all levels.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work cross functionally with a lot of different areas of the company, and to be honest, everyone is a joy to work with. That's not to say that there aren't expectations. Work can be demanding at time, but it's great to work with so many talented and capable individuals who help you get it done.
