I've learned more and grown more at B12 than at any other company I've worked. It can be stressful at times and the path forward is not always clear, but we're pioneering a new approach for SMBs to build websites and get new customers from the internet. It's supposed to be hard. :)
What are some of the best things about your team?
Really smart people that are motivated and capable, yet down-to-earth and approachable. We work well together, we collaborate constantly, and we have fun while we're doing it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Brilliant people that are very down-to-earth and approachable. They believe in bottoms-up management/decision-making and are big on collaboration and getting input from all sorts of different types of people.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Equity is a big part of the compensation here and we all feel like we are building something that will be hugely successful (which would make our equity hugely valuable).
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture is very fast-paced and entrepreneurial. We are building and doing things that have never been done before, so we expect some efforts to succeed while others fail. Our focus is on learning and growing.
What makes you most happy at work?
The team. I am surrounded by some of the most impressive people I've ever known. It's truly inspiring and motivates me to do the best work of my career and be the best version of me.
What did you like most about the interview process?
B12 takes great care to hire only the best, so expect to do a project of some sort and to meet with 4-6 people across multiple phone and face-to-face interviews. It makes working here incredibly rewarding to know that the bar is so high.
