My overall experience is average. Pay doesn't match the living cost but the only reason I stick to my job is because i love what i do and the support i get from my direct manager is very valuable. The company also need to practice equality and fairness as a whole and not favor one team over other.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Even though we started out as Korean American company, i think it's great to see such diversity amongst the employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
Learning aspect of my job. But the most thing I look forward to is the interaction with my coworkers. The team dynamic is what makes my work worthwhile.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they're all smart and is good at what they do. In terms of growing the company in numbers, they seem to know what they need to do.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team work is the best because they are just genuinely nice people who actually care. We trust and understand each other and help out when needed. We have mutual respect for the team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation need to match the current living cost. With my current pay, I can't even rent a place near work to live. This forces me to live with family far from work and have to commute over an hour everyday. I wish they'd consider the living cost in LA when paying their employees.
