My overall experience has been very positive. Working in healthcare is very challenging, but I feel that Baylor Scott & White is one company to watch, they have consistently made changes as needed, tackled the pandemic with grace and understanding that changes must be made to move forward.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We encourage each team member to feel like they have a voice, and that they have something to contribute. There are many committees, boards, and opportunities for everyone to have a say in how they deliver care to patients.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all encourage each other to bring our best selves to work, and if we are having a difficult day, our leadership and management is quick to do check ins and see how they can help. The diversity and culture across the system has grown so much, and HR does a great job of highlighting diversity.
