Co workers were great for the most part. Too many long term people in upper management, and top leadership is stacked with former GE employees. Lots of internal competition amongst employees as well as leaders to see who can individually shine the brightest. No work/life balance.
What makes you most happy at work?
My core team and some of the people. There is a lot of passion.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Personal team was collaborative and engaged. Collective team was a mess due to poor leadership.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Find a new CEO and head of HR. They tolerate bad behavior and ignore toxic issues.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Company needs to focus on hiring people outside of GE. CEO needs to stop approaching people management like it's 1980. Find leaders who know how to lead people not just sell product. Majority of employees would tell you they love the company, but are burnt out.
