$10/hour isn't it. We are not given proper tools to clean the rooms (or even a broom that brushes the baby powder effectively), no PTO, no benefits and no protection if a client chooses to sue in the event of a burn. Management has no esthetics or cosmo experience.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The other waxers and front desk girls are a delight in spite of management problems/unavailable cleaning supplies for the rooms.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The other girls. They're sweet, but it does not fix the other issues within the MA location I am at.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would prefer to be paid properly to start, and have the tools to efficiently do my job without having to hoard items in the event we run out and management does not order more. Such as barbicide.
