What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager is someone who ran an east coast location for several years and is amazing! Were all afraid shes gonna walk away soon from how poorly the owners run their business..

When we all get 5% commission

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Feel undervalued because this job should be about customer service, not sales. We are licensed professionals with clients who love and respect us, yet if we do not sell enough we might as well be trash. Bonuses in the service industry should be based on customer satisfaction, not KPIs.

Licensed commission employees, who went to SCHOOL, should not be having 95% of THEIR money taken from them. Also, no PTO or benefits, and you're lucky if they allow you to work full time.

I would prefer to be paid properly to start, and have the tools to efficiently do my job without having to hoard items in the event we run out and management does not order more. Such as barbicide.

Theyre all sweet, understanding, and easy going.

We work together and help each other, we go long periods of time with no manager, or guidance other then ever changing policies from the owners so we make it work as best we can.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very relaxed and just felt more like a conversation. Granted this is when I was hired under a different franchise. Our current one has a mess of an interview process and I'm very happy I didn't have to go through it.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The clients recognize that EWC is terrible, but they usually love their waxer and want to continue supporting them, OR they love the convenience of it.
