Our benefits, compared to other tech companies, is ok. Pay is pretty fair but hard to really "blow out your numbers" so better "additional" benefits - fitness, memberships, etc. would be nice.

The employee medical can be much cheeper! And making retirees pay a monthly premium almost $400 is wrong!

The entire compensation package is regressive with huge decelerators, and paid on scale for a fantastic mid-1990's role.

Compensation is below market for the same skills. Internal promotions are a chance to level set, but instead CenturyLink uses the opportunity to cut wages. It would be better to leave CenturyLink and come back for a promotion than stay and promote.

Improve the response time between stages. If an employee applies and is a good match and or will be interviewed, don't wait 2 to 3 weeks before reaching out to them. The job market is not only competitive, but it also looks bad on the company.
