What are some of the best things about your team?
It's an eclectic group of people, each of whom brings a unique bundle of skills and personality traits. The company encourages personal friendships, so many of us have become friends away from work.

Lingotek is not a large company so it allows the executive team to actually "hear" you as an employee. They get ideas from everywhere and not just from other management. They are great at leading and being transparent.

The leadership team has done a good job of eliminating or minimizing egos at Lingotek. Everyone is quick to give credit to others and take blame for themselves rather than looking for a scapegoat.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lots of support for every team member in their personal lives. Management makes a concerted effort to foster a supportive culture that extends beyond the workplace.

We have a culture committee that is actually tasked with keeping things light and enjoyable. We have optional after hours get togethers (both in person and virtual). We aren't required to work crazy hours and can have a good work life balance too.

What did you like most about the interview process?
They wanted to get to know me as a person as much as evaluate my past professional accomplishments. They were clearly assessing not just whether or not I could do the job, but also whether I would fit well in the culture.

The executive team was involved in the interview process which showed me that they truly care about who they are hiring.

I got to meet all of the key players at the company and they were able to really paint a picture of the potential growth that I could have in my role and future roles at the company. Everything that they told me has come to fruition too (that is really rare).
