Lumen (formerly CenturyLink) Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

Smaller teams are generally cohesive but lack executive guidance

Posted 20 days ago

Their intelligence is above all otheea

THE TEAM IS VERY SUPPORTATIVE

Review from Communications Dept

All are deeply expert in what they do.

Review from Sales Dept

Interaction , support and dependability

While my perception of the company isn't great, I do value my teammates, and think they are very competent and professional. I think senior managers up to executive leadership are to blame for Lumens stagnant work culture, which rewards mediocrity and discourages people who want to advance.

Hard working, intelligent and reliable

The people. Their knowledge and helpfulness.

Most of team works hard but the same ones making the same mistakes don't seem to get in trouble. Hard workers constantly worrying they will be let go

Hardworking, good hearted folk with a few exceptions

Good and fun interactions, great inputs

Review from Engineering Dept

We help each other out.

Personal and best friends, we compete to make our goals

Review from Finance Dept

They do what they need yo do to get paid.., they have learned to be heartless.

Review from Sales Dept

The team talk to each other daily, however, our manager or Supervisor is never in the office as he works from home 28 out of 30 days a month. The team basically does what they want when they want, they get the job done and being an integral part of the IT world that's a very good thing for everyone

They work well together to make workarounds for bad systems

How they work together and pride in work

Knowledge base of techs that preform the day to day installation and service orders. But the leadership keeps changing processes that dont work.

We have good camaraderie and are great about supporting one another.

Review from Operations Dept

The only good thing is the people

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

No issue with co workets yhe problem is the game

What co workers everyone has been forced out or surplussed.

Review from Operations Dept

Coworkers need better management support-not people that look for ways to find fault. Most management doesn't even know how to do the my job.

Training for new and upcoming technology. Communication between one another.

My co workers are not the issue

Willingness to collaborate across silos.

Learn not to listen to someone that is jealous and allow them to make decisions

to do there job management cant do anything to employees that dont want to do the work correctly

Get out if you can't perform, don't hide. Be accountable and do work

The non productive employee were never held accountable

Not really a coworker problem. It's a morale problem.

Learn how to do their jobs correctly

Review from Operations Dept

My coworkers need diversity training. A diversity training in person that can give examples.

Review from Finance Dept

They need to hire people with the actual skills needed to do the job they are hired for, and stop just hiring button pushers because they are cheaper

Review from Finance Dept

They are bullies and dont care

Review from Operations Dept

If they had better training. They don't seem to want to hire experience

Review from Operations Dept

Need to do their job and go back on the jobs they just close because they are time consuming

Review from Operations Dept

the communication between projects needs to be smoother

Review from IT Dept

there are no meetings, the supervisor had never been a supervisor, the outgoing manager just chose a person to fill in because he was leaving and we needed someone to run the show.

Review from IT Dept

Better training provided by the company.
