I've always worked at very serious and regimented companies, until Everlight. Since working here, I truly understand how it is to work for a company that you love and are excited about. It feels like coming home after wandering in the desert for years.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that talking about money isn't an awkward topic. I like that I am able to be open about my needs.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that my pay should be better in a leadership position. I'm only making 2-3 thousand more a year from my employees
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all so supportive of each other. I genuinely see my coworkers as my friends, and I value and love coming to work each day with them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel very supported, and I feel that expectations are clear for my role. Leadership always steps in when needed and helps me to accomplish the goals of my department!
What makes you most happy at work?
I get to work on so many different and cool projects. My voice is heard through the process of creating here and that is something that does not usually happens elsewhere. I have the freedom to explore and try new things.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone has each others backs. We all have a fun and entertaining work environment with each other. Everyone brings different skillsets to the team and I love being able to pick the brains of people on my team since everyone is so knowledgable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They help you to set goals for yourself, whether at work or in your personal life, and they help you figure out how to obtain those goals. They truly care about how I feel and how I can become a better person inside and out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company as a whole cares about who you are in and outside of work. The company culture is loving, encouraging, and so much fun. It is SO much fun to work at Everlight, and everyone knows and appreciates this. That is why we all work so hard to make sure that we succeed together.
