A genuine and effective effort from executives and all managers along the command channel to support and enhance all staff on both a personal and professional level.
What are some of the best things about your team?
This is a very supportive group. I've never been somewhere that questions and requests for help are met so eagerly by managers and co-workers alike. Everyone has each others' back.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am performing a specialized function, have 15 years of work experience, management and leadership experience, go above and beyond the requirements of my job, work volunteer overtime regularly for exceptional results... But I'm barely making minimum wage for the state of residence.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love contributing to a tangible product in the work I do. Getting to speak with happy customers who are excited about our services, seeing the panels go up on those customers' houses, etc. I love seeing the fruits of our labor on a daily basis.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Genuine interest in the wellbeing of their staff and in our personal and professional growth. Even though I don't meet the qualifications for leadership within the company (whatever those may be), a position that suits my unique skills was made available to ensure I'm utilized and validated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have genuine friendships and truly enjoy working together. Everyone wants to help each other out and it is very supportive and warm. We all learn together. It is the environment that every major company dreams of fostering successfully, but our execs have actually pulled it off.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Although this company has grown RAPIDLY the leadership has managed to keep the goals and culture of the company pure and focused. They make active efforts to ensure the staff are growing as individuals and members of the company, and they set tough goals for the group to keep motivation high.
