Owner and operator of a chain of restaurants. The company has a total of 24 restaurants globally and 7 Michelin stars, with international restaurants from Europe to the United States and the Middle East. It provides a wide range of cuisine, styles and hospitality services worldwide.
What I like best about the company is that it is known globally.
The most positive about the culture and environment at my company would be the tourists.
What I liked most about the interview process was that it was quick.
Leadership sets the tone for every restaurant. My advice would be to spend more time developing your people than simply reacting to the day's challenges. Employees want to work hard, but they also want to feel respected, heard, and valued. Improve communication at every level.
My coworkers lacked any environmental intelligence. My coworkers have to be asked to complete the sidework. They lacked teamwork and everyone was out for themselves. This is due to poor management.
Review staffing and labor planning more carefully. Overstaffing while existing employees struggle to earn enough hours hurts morale, increases turnover, and creates frustration. A well-balanced schedule benefits both the business and the employees. Culture starts with leaders! So much more!
