We, as a global educational school, provide the opportunity for children to receive a high quality education so that they will be well prepared to work in the international work place using their broad global perspective and high educational level, including English with pride and confidence.

What did you like most about the interview process?
There were a variety of styles and techniques used. seminar based, practical demonstration and panel interviews. The interviewers were generally respectful
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most people show appreciation and generally there is a listening ear from most people in management. Management share the same goal as others, even if their methods and ideas of getting there is different
What are some of the best things about your team?
A broad range of diverse people from a range of backgrounds. Majority of the people care about the service we are trying to provide. Most people are willing to support each and share ideas.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Power harassment and unmotivated people. Politics and scrimpy mindset. Too much public shaming in the head office, leading to a high turnover rate. Training and support for the teachers has lacked and the company is investing not in learning and development but in unbeleivable future projects
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The benefits package need to be fairer across the Japanese and Foreign workforce within Japan. It is a growing company and relatively large in japan. The benefits are still weaker and less attractive than similar sized companies. Retirement package, frequency of bonus payments, as well paid leave.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being in touch with the reality of the workload and job requirements at the base level. Some more compassion and understanding of cultural differences. KKIS needs to show more willingness to be more progressive and adapt to the changing world, which starts from the executive level
