What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to respect their employees. Knack Systems is a typical example of how a third world country work culture is imposed on US. The CEO seems to have attitude as if he owns the world and in general talks with certain disdain which is quite improper for any organization.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Its a typical Indian IT body shop where the best avenue is to be on an arrangement called 70:30.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The fact that these IT consulting companies from India uses every loop hole in the system to exploit "a body on h1b" makes it a tough job and it can hardly be improved.
