I can honestly say I enjoy working alongside some of the best out there. The culture is incredible, the team is amazing, and for being fully remote we have a lot of fun. The products and services Lightyear offers are genuinely great, continuously improved, and something we're all proud of.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The equity is exciting and the benefits are amazing. The salary is a step above my last company, so very competitive as well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
It is noticeable how much they genuinely care about us all and our feedback and opinions. They are always open to ideas and offering full transparency around everything.
What are some of the best things about your team?
How kind, caring, and willing to help everyone is. We all have very diverse backgrounds but yet we all seem to interact like we've known each other for years.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The leadership all took an interest in getting to know me, all the way up to Dennis, our CEO. The hiring process has proven to be very effective, given the amazing culture we have.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are all remote, but yet we find ways to build and strengthen relationships in fun ways. Whether it's fun virtual competitions, an employee spotlight (showcasing an employee personally), or "donut sessions" to just chat with someone else and get to know them, we find ways to grow together.
What makes you most happy at work?
The flexibility of working remote. I'm able to see my son throughout the day and I'm not handcuffed to strict working hours. I also love seeing some of the impact our products and services are having on companies. It's fulfilling when we're solving problems or saving them money, impacting their jobs
