In a word: opportunities. I started as an entry-level employee and eventually became a manager of the team I started on. I have since jumped to a new team where I found what I really love to do and consider this a career! I love working with each of my coworkers and enjoy our company events.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Having been with the company for a number of years, I've experienced some of the highs and lows and I've been impressed with our resiliency during challenging times. I'm happy with where we're at currently and excited about the future!
What makes you most happy at work?
Ultra-productive days where I get to complete a project or help a co-worker do so.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The HSA contribution match has made it such that medical expenses are never a concern for my family of 6.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to work with new technologies and build things that help me and my coworkers be more efficient and successful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I've been a part of several teams while at Lingotek and interactions with each team have been wonderful; however, my current team has been my favorite.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I would say that the members of the leadership team at Lingotek are very approachable, transparent and show genuine interest in each employee's suggestions, questions, concerns and individual needs.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel that Lingotek has always treated me well in terms of compensation and the benefits have stayed relatively consistent over a number of years in terms of offering and cost to the employee.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is my favorite part about working at Lingotek! The work environment is extremely flexible and recent efforts by the team to engage employees and their families in company events has been a joy to participate in!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Lingotek has a very genuine leadership team. They care about the employees and their families and are flexible with life's challenges. They appreciate hard work and reward it accordingly. They expect us to succeed and do their part to make that possible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Management prior to COVID-19 had made new efforts to bring us together outside of work with parties and events. While that has been more difficult over the past 18 months, they still do their best to engage us on a personal level and I think that just helps our work culture.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Albeit small, the team I work on is very productive. We are able to work through any type of issue with minimal tension between one another when it comes to disagreements on proposed solutions. I love that while we all have our own areas of expertise, we're always willing to help each other learn.
What did you like most about the interview process?
While the process has changed somewhat since I was hired, I feel like the current process gives the team a chance to get to know the candidate and allow them to demonstrate some of their skills. It also allows the candidate to ask questions from members of different teams they would be working with.
