I love teaching at Madison College. The autonomy of the work helping students succeed allows me to be my best, to grow and learn new things while fostering their growth. While the administration has gotten lost in the business model of education, the heart of the people remains focused on students
What is the best part about your compensation package?
health insurance choices are good as are prices. Wages are reasonable however certainly not keeping pace with inflation.

They have the interest of students at heart and a strong commitment to DEI issues that are critical to our mission and supporting students.

The people of Madison College are amazing and what make this place the best. Everyone has the interests of our students at heart and that makes all the difference.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with our students, helping them to learn and grow and fundamentally change their lives for the better. I love it when students "get it" and seeing them succeed in classes and then in the world beyond.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
the autonomy as an instructor overall is very appealing. Having the lively buzz of the campus and the efforts to improve the physical spaces to make them more inviting and welcoming is great. I like that nearly everyone is focused on doing the best they can to support our students.
