What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is very understanding of one another and their situations and are open to always helping out. This kind of culture really helped us transition into remote environments very smoothly.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The unlimited PTO days can be tricky with a lot of start ups, but Newsela takes work and life balance very seriously so our directors take lead in taking generous vacation days so we can follow lead and take them as well. (Estimate 1 ~ 2 months )
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are proud of our product in being able to help the education industry with teachers and students, and because of that I think our culture is very empathetic and teacher-like where we are very open to assisting anyone in their projects and tasks. This helps a growing company to work efficiently.
