What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is full of people who really care about the education space and are passionate about both meeting teachers where they are at and helping to innovate and imagine even better content resources for students in the future. They make themselves accessible and are open to feedback.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
flex PTO, great work-life balance

We are a team of lifelong learners -- I love that we all get a NewselaU stipend to continue our learning! I'm also grateful for unlimited PTO and perks that support transportation costs. Our office manager also knows and keeps stocked all our favorite snacks :)

We get a lot of perks, like 3-month maternity leave and a return to work program, food in the office so we can eat breakfast and lunch at the office, and $1000 for professional development which are nice to haves.

We are a group of dedicated, hard-working and passionate people committed to making news accessible to students of all reading levels.

My colleagues are brilliant; collaborative, always willing to help, problem-solvers and incredibly hard working. Everyone is mission-driven and committed to serving educators and students. I would add that everyone asks smart questions and always seeks to understand, in addition to being understood.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone assumes the best about intentions and is always ready to help out. Also, everyone appreciates learning -- so they are ready to teach you what you don't yet know and they are eager to learn from your expertise.

I loved meeting most of the team I'd work closely with and I thought the case study was thought-provoking.
