What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop walking stores every 6 weeks or less. Stop micromanaging. Stop lying and put in a override in the MyTime. Stop being about metrics. Stop being about Pennies over People because in the end the company will lose its most experienced employees being replaced by a work force that is weak

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Just the health care/insurance. However an increase in accruals for vacation, PTO and sick hours needs a boost.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
All the work falls on the remaining few. Kroger can not hire anyone because of low wages. The end result is more work and not enough people. Most, but not all , of the new hires are leftovers that other better paying stores don't want. The rest of us are close to retiring and don't care any longer.

They need to manage their time better and get their pick speed better. Also they need not stand around talking to each other and wasting time

They need stability and consistent schedules. They need better work/life balance. This MyTime disrupted a lot of schedules that upper management refuses to make changes to ensure consistency so that we can balance outside of work life. We work to live not live to work

The group hiring process is informal and no questions regarding cost of living is asked the needs of an interested candidate aren't concidered.

The union contracts don't reflect past contract incentives or pay rate and the salaries are lower now than years past.

Our building is OLD. There is no room to effectively produce the volume required daily. I personally haven't had ONE break, not ONE, in over two years!!!
