Kroger Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are understanding and work hard

Manager is willing to work, not walk around and talk to eachother, ignoring the customers. They are able to fix problems or come up with solutions, unlike upper management who will "get back to you". Corporate removed postions with no action to allocate those tasks, letting them pile up.

Review from Operations Dept

Customer number one, then profits,

There always positive. And up lifting

Review from Sales Dept

Do not like their micro-managing check list business model. They do mot let their management team operate the stores. All they want are check lists feeled out on a daily basis! They don't want anyone to think on their own.

Very engaged and supports training communication

Great Team I Enjoy Everyone

Very open when it comes to explaining things the way they are.

My immediate supervisor is pretty supportive.

Good communication and always friendly

Thet dont mind helping get a task done

Review from Customer Success Dept

They will try to solve issues

They’re all super nice and friend

Diverse group of people who come from different backgrounds and can see different perspectives.

They realize that putting input into a zebra all day is what the company wants so they don't brate you if you cannot also do the physical part of the job the way it should be

Nice and caring people fun to be around

They are respectful and understanding.

They treat me as an equal team member.

If i have an issue i need help with there always to listen and help

We support each other and we have each others back

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

under standing the logisticts of the customer service delivery to set up the routes so the drivers can purfor thie duties in a more less stressful environment let the good workers do thier jobs with all of the petty issues and do things on a care by case basies its a very good job gone bad

Understanding that goals aren't being met because there isnt enough people, not because we arent trying hard enough. The abuse baggers as cashiers even though they arent getting paid as cashiers.

Leaders need empathy and understanding for their crew

Communication, professionalism, and understanding of worker productivity

Get better at protecting your employees

they need manager, leadership, community training.

Communicating what they want. Training people like new team leads. Setting realistic expectations. Providing clear goals for a role.

Creating a vision that enables smarter, more resilient solutions and less reliance on consultants and pivoting to shiny objects. They also need to get more strategy folks from KTD embedded with the business and empowered to solve problems, even if they don't require us to develop in-house products

They need to work on communication and ensuring their employees are ckmfortable and feel safe with their tasks, and in their environment

Being kind to their employees

They need to work on their Communication

Listen to employees who have had experience working for the company

Taking care of their associates

Communication and actually resolving conflicts in the workplace without threats and retalliation

Pay your employees right and pay them when they get ready to go on their vacations all the hard workers need to get raises

Review from Customer Success Dept

Everything you could think of. Basic thinking, waste prevention, simple scheduling. Overall needs a huge overhaul. Maybe Walmart should buy the factory I work at. They would probably do a better job at the absolute bare minimal compared to supervisors we have.

Worst company ever management worst

Kroger needs to hire competent management who cares about the employees and the needs of the store. Current management is clueless about the fundamentals of retail.

Training and listening to the associates concerns

The leadership team need to get better at caring more about their employees
