Kroger Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Life insurance is free and insurance for me and family is cheao

Covered by insurance and retirement plan

Too hard to pick. Really a great benefits package.

Having something when i retire

The stock option and the coverage

Monthly oension going into my KEMBA Account

Good No Complaints Here Couldn't Be Happier

I don't know what that is, but okay.

Low insurance fees, and 401k match

It's complete and fair. Some benefits are way better than at other companies.

Have very good benefits overall

Salary is fair and bonuses are great

The vacation time and the benefits

Review from Customer Success Dept

The benefits are great and not really costly

The benefis are very good

Insurance is cheap and that makes it worth it.

The aura comes with it

Health insurance is really good

Its affordable and one the few reasons I remain here.

We get a weekly paycheck. That's all.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Respect would go a long way. Honestly would go a long way. There are neither, only self important people who dictate without looking at a department and the conditions first.

I have worked there almost 28 years and I feel I should be making 25 a hour

Im really not sure what would make compensation better a less hostile work environment would make me less worried about compensation

If I made a little more money like if I made 15 an hour instead of 13.60

If you excell at your job or under perform at your job it makes no difference.

See a better management team that is not so fast to judge. And that will help all departments when they are behind with outting them down. Not just help certain departments. Certain department heads are talk to badly and thats just not right.

If you want us to work pay more money and give more hours even overtime if that what ot takes to get the job done correctly

Salary is not commensurate for the time worked

I feel our benefits are very mediocre. I'm thankful to have insurance, but it doesn't cover much and it only covers in network providers. It's a hassle. Also preventative is supposed to be free, but I always get a bill.

Iz would take a pay cut just to have enough help in the department. We are run ragged not having enough people only to then be told that that's all the hours kroger has for that department. But two years ago there were double the employees.

If we got paid the same as people who dont do half the things we do but still make more and for double the work like switching from a courtesy clerk to a combo clerk is a 15 cent raise why am i going to do doible the work for only 15 cents more

I did not recieve a paycheck my first 6 weeks of working. They have now been recieved but the timing has financially hurt me and i am unable to have reliable transportation to work.

I don't feel I'm undervalued, just under paid.

I'm still angry about how they took away hero pay so early. We risked out lives to feed the human spirit.

less yelling, more understanding and communicating better

HR and helpdesk are both frustrating Due to lack of knowledge or training or both

As stated previously they as in the top brass, execs, and the regional managers need to see and experience the injustices and harsh conditions that they've imposed on their workforce.

Raises on merit not job title

This is a no-win situation for any and all employees. The Union we have is literally the most ineffective Union in the country. In addition to their weakness, the Kroger family of companies is very large and honestly almost getting to the point; especially after this latest massive MERGER becomes

I want to be working at a different Smith’s Food And Drug store and get paid a better rate because I don't wanna hired a lawy
