What is the best part about your compensation package?
The balance of the compensation. From various different types of healthcare support, to salary, equity etc, it is very balanced. Newsela also focuses on our social emotional well being.
What makes you most happy at work?
Breaking records and continuing to disrupt a market that is ripe for disruption. We have successfully completed this exercise in a number of verticals in our space and it definitely re-energizes us.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They offer opportunities for learning within our departments but also outside of our departments. They give us the autonomy to make our own decisions and they trust us to do the right thing.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we built each other up and learn from each other versus being competitive against each other. We are only competitive against the market, not against each other. We genuinely want to see each other succeed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The "all in" culture, as i describe it. Everyone that works here is all in on our mission, culture, and big rocks, or goals. We work collaboratively to hit our goals and our focus is laser sharp.
