Pays good as long as your productivity & quality are high. I do think they put some unrealistic expectations on the harder workers to compensate for the less motivated and less skilled workers which i dont believe is fair. If compensated better for going the extra mile things might be different.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was quick and easy and got to work quickier than i had expected.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The exterior line i work on , when fully staffed and proper people placed at their most beneficial positions on the line, production sometimes seems effortless but one hiccup or one call out can determine a phenomenal night vs mediocre night performance wise.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I was just recently informed that they have a employee stock program, so for each caldenar year you complete i believe you receive 1 piece of NVR Stock which currently bounces around $2800-4500 and you get 1 every yr and they match a decent amount on your 401k as well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
That they're extremely honest and particular when they do their employee reviews because it shows me that they are nit picking small things to keep a potential raise being higher but in return by fixing those minuscule things that they point out allows me to be 100% prepared for the next review
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to listen to music, which isnt allowed anymore i guess for safety reasons but there are certain positions that are very excluded where you're mostly by yourself for 85-90% of the shift and i dont see why they cant use headphones or a speaker since they have no1 to talk to for 10+ hr shift
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being able to effectively communicate with fellow members on the exterior line when it comes to needing a hand mostly everyone is usually willing to jump in and help to keep up a certain pace so a lot doesnt fall on just one person. That also depends on how your line is staffed day to day as well
