Listening to their employees responses instead of taking a survey and then just doing whatever they want anyway

Listening and respecting others including employees and customers.

They are a bunch of people that have no other Corporate experience. They accept unprofessional behavior as acceptible.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Almost every benefit you could ask for

Bonuses are nice alongside training

Fidelity investments and how they automatically setup your employee stock share program

I was just recently informed that they have a employee stock program, so for each caldenar year you complete i believe you receive 1 piece of NVR Stock which currently bounces around $2800-4500 and you get 1 every yr and they match a decent amount on your 401k as well.

There are a lot of opportunities to socialize and support each other

The support many different roles give eachother

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We like to have fun. Music played on Fridays, division lunches with games for holidays, team outings, and great holiday parties.

Understanding how our individual contributions impact the company's bottom line, and alignment of the targeted goals to achieving those of the company as a whole.

Everybody out on the floor is always willing to help and bring up new employees

Being able to effectively communicate with fellow members on the exterior line when it comes to needing a hand mostly everyone is usually willing to jump in and help to keep up a certain pace so a lot doesnt fall on just one person. That also depends on how your line is staffed day to day as well

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Respect for each & every employee at all times would be ideal. There's constant hostility & unnecessary competition amongst the group, often & primarily fueled by inexperienced leadership & underqualified hires (which are frequently let go w/out proper training opps & then personally blamed).

Allow people to work from home

More hiring and personnel so we can get more done

If you didn't conform to construction accepted behavior your were watched until they found something trivial to discipline you on.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The managers were flexible with ma allowing for virtual interviews.

It was intense and took a few months from my first interview. Finally getting to meet the managers was the best part.

It was professional and got to the point

Fast and get put to work sooner than anticipated

It was quick and easy and got to work quickier than i had expected.

My workflow is fairly consistent and easy to manage

What I do. I am there to serve our customers, which makes me happy.

Solving challenges that others cannot

Working with coworkers and getting our work done and working together to get the job done

Having the parts we need when things break down and solving big projects

Simple atmosphere and not exciting work, ground hogs day

If you are thinking of being successful at this company, think again. If you are from outside the construction industry, they wont accept u.
