Ontellus has a lot of good things going for it. We've got good hard-working people from the ground floor all the way to the Executive Suite. However, we struggle with trying to wrangle all our disparate Business Units together in a way that makes us feel/act like one team/company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting a project done and across the finish line.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The company provided life insurance policy is nice. The optional additional coverage for life insurance, is really affordable and hassle free to sign up for.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team very approachable and has an open-door policy. If I have ideas or concerns, I am provided with opportunities to reach out to them and make my voice heard. Additionally, the team then either takes tangible action on those concerns, or provides explanations for why they will not.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team I work with daily is made of individuals who are go getters. They are not just motivated to get the job done, but to get it done RIGHT. There is a level of respect we all have for each other, born out of our shared desire to deliver the best work we can.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is in progress, but in a good way. We are currently trying to define our company culture by taking the best of various businesses that have been consolidated over the last few years. The Executive Leadership is trying hard to grow a culture that focus on finding ways to do what we do better.
