The majority of the team is hard working, driven, and all-in to help accomplish our goals. There are a few stand out employees that do not seem to be held to the same standards which is very frustrating to witness over and over. There is not consistency in expectations.

Most people are friendly, willing to help, interested in each other, and believe in the bigger mission.

Contributing and making an impact at a brand that is making a difference for pets and therefore people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most are very willing to help collaborate toward a bigger goal even if it's outside of their regular role.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Even though they can rarely interact with people outside their departments, they all attempt to connect with others when in Austin.

I am grateful for their experience, knowledge, and passion. I know that as a whole, I can trust their guidance and judgment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Loyalty to the brand and its people seems to be overvalued in what an employee wants and needs from a place of employment.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love that we help improve the lives of pets and their people, including my own. I believe in our products and love that achieving our business goals = helping more animals.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am not fairly compensated for my role and responsibilities and have been sought out and offered a higher salary. What is currently keeping me is the mission of our brand and products.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Many members of the team are collaborative, driven, and team players. I especially get along with other members who take pride in their work and strive to make the company better for everyone, including the environment and our customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most employees care about their quality of work, our business goals, and our mission to help pets and pet parents. I prefer a working environment where everyone works hard and also celebrates accomplishments well. I think we could improve celebrating individuals and small wins dept by dept.
