Job satisfaction is consistent. Positive work environment is common and employees are upbeat and happy at work for the most part. We feel connected with corporate office and their management team. I am happy to go to work and feel that people come first at all levels of employment.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
From my previous answers, I think it is obvious that my experience has been wonderful. I hope that when this contract ends I will be considered for other contracts as well with PKL. I am bought in to this company from top to bottom.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Many different people that make the environment positive and we support each other.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Compensation meets and exceeds any other "like" company in almost every aspect of compensation in my opinion.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Energetic engagement with personnel at all levels with timely responses to valid inquiries about the future of the company, contracts and individual issues or needs.
What makes you most happy at work?
Contract success is the most important, however, positive relationships with our team and the RSAF make the job fun. It is very difficult at times, yet at the same time very rewarding.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Diversity is the most amazing thing about PKL and the contract I am part of. It is amazing to see people from all walks of life and different cultures come together as one team with the single focus of success.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
PKL's compensation is competitive with other companies within the same scope and purpose. The corporate team is always available to answer questions and I have witnessed first hand, how benefits have been a successful for past and present employees. It is a proven perk.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency is the most important. As information, changes, updates on future contracts become available that information is shared with everyone. I feel that people do come first and that has been proven over and over. I have a lot of faith in PKL leadership!
What makes you most happy at work?
Constant challenges and freedom to navigate solutions allowed within the contract. There are constant "speed bumps" to overcome and I think we succeed in meeting customer needs by ensuring their needs are met while remaining within contract parameters. It is challenging with good job satisfaction.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Since 2015 to present, the expertise of 80 percent of our team has been on display and we have been monumentally successful even as the contract has changed over the years. Currently, I feel we have the best team we have ever had and we continue show our value to this contract with consistency.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Not only are we a team, we are family. With the recent reduction in force, it is apparent how close we have become. You can see it an feel it whether at work of outside of work. I have had many great teams through the USAF days and the 8.5 years with PKL, but the current team may be the best ev
