I have had a few retail jobs over the years. I can absolutely say that I have found a company to retire with. I have had an unbelievable run with this company. I started as a Retail Supervisor and in just 2 short years I am now a Multi-Unit General Manager. I am excited for the future here!

What are some of the best things about your team?
I love how we all come together to help reach our goals. I love the interaction between us on how to make things better. Everyone on my team has a voice, and they are not afraid to give ideas and feedback on how we can be better.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company really cares about their employees. They are always looking for opportunities to grow and make it better. I have worked at a few corporations, and this is the first to do employee surveys and actually make changes based on them. They also focus on promoting from within!
What makes you most happy at work?
Every day is different then the last. You never know what challenges you may face, or the lives we may save. Yes we are an optical place, but there are so many amazing stories of us detecting a medical issue, that if left untreated, could have caused life altering issues.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I appreciate the opportunity that I have been given. This no way reflects poor feelings towards the company. I just feel that the amount of pay for the amount of responsibility as a manager seems low. I think the pay should reflect the importance of running a multi-million dollar store or stores.
